Author Guidelines

Curriculum History is now accepting manuscripts for review and potential publication.

All manuscripts are subject to two reviews, the first by the editor(s) and then sent for two blind peer-reviews.  Author(s) should ensure that nothing is included in the submitted manuscript that would identify the author to the reviewers.  Manuscripts which contain author(s) identification will be returned to the author(s). Ms which do not conform to formatting (e.g., footnotes, tab use, etc.) will be returned to the author(s).

Manuscripts presented at an annual meeting will be placed in Curriculum History volume of that year. For example, papers presented at the 2024 meeting will be considered for Curriculum History 2024. Manuscripts not presented at an annual meeting will be used to fill out an issue.

History of education manuscripts on topics both within the United States and abroad will be considered for publication. Scholars are encouraged to use this venue to present reports of their research on topics in the history of education, broadly conceived.
