SSCH members gather once a year for an in-person conference. The focus is the presentation and discussion of scholarly papers, mentorship of graduate students, and fellowship. The conference is held just before the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and in the same city. Many members present at both SSCH and AERA conferences. Our call for proposals typically goes out in the fall.
